This is the place where our antecedent very accurately have marked the rise of the Sun and the Moon. Through this megalithic observatory, the three main positions of the Sun and the four main positions of the Moon can be accurately determined over a year. The sun, in fact, only on Equinox - on March 21 and September 21 - rises exactly to the east and goes directly to the west. Then, there is gradually a deviation of up to 45 degrees.

In the north-south direction there can be stone seats known as thrones. In the past, people performed more ancient rituals, including the ritual that took place in the middle of summer. It was believed that only one of the participants in the ritual was brightened by the sunlight, and this man was then considered a tribal chief.

The Observatory is four thousand years old. It is a sacred mountain and a mystical space that awakens a sense of respect for all those who will visit.
